Designed to resolve flooring squeaks, the WSV2S screw from Simpson Strong-Tie is useful for a variety of interior tasks, including subflooring, sill plates and stair treads. The fastener measures #9 x 2" with a twin thread and T25 6-lobe drive type. Note: This screw has a required minimum fastener penetration of 1-1/4" into framing member.
This screw has a yellow zinc coating and is compatible with Quik Drive PRO200S, PRO250G2, and PRO300S Wood Decking screw systems from Quik Drive. WSV and WSTNL subfloor screws have a lateral shear, withdrawal and pull-through value superior to those of 10d (3") nails. Use them for attaching subflooring to wood, sheathing to wood, and EWP-Ply for multi-ply trusses.
