Delivering optimal holding power for a wide range of applications, these 33-degree SubLoc Pro plastic strip collated Scrails from Fasco are ideal for subflooring. Part nail and part screw, they are electro-galvanized for rust prevention, and designed to prevent squeaking subfloor. Their patent-pending Diamond Coating offers superior holding power and 10% reduced drive energy. Capable of being rapidly driven with a nailing gun, they can conveniently be adjusted with a screwdriver. Designed for use in most 31-34 degree plastic strip framing nailers.

SubLoc Pro Scrails deliver a 41% improvement in withdrawal value over standard ring-shank nails, and a 13% withdrawal value improvement over SubLoc Scrails. These fine-thread 2-1/4” x .113 fasteners (#SCPS713FSEGSFP) have an aggressive double threading and a redeveloped nail head, an improvement upon the earlier Scrail design. The result is greater pull-through resistance and even more holding strength than ring-shank nails. They are approved for use with AdvanTech and Norbord subfloors, but may also be used for applications like fencing, framing, decking, sheathing drywall, and millwork.
