The standard-length extension for the Quik Drive collated-screw systems, the 20" Quik Drive Extension (Item #QDEXTG2) allows for stand-up-and-drive fastening. The extension arm reduces back and knee strain, and allows for easier screwdriving for subflooring, drywall, underlayment and decking. This standard extension is 20" long and works only with G2 model systems.
The Quik Drive G2 standard extension is compatible with the PRO300 Wood Decking, PROLDH Underlayment/Backerboard, PROPP150 Metal Roofing, PRO200 Drywall, and PRO250 Subfloor systems, as well as corresponding auto-feed attachments.

Is there a schematic drawing of the extension for this? I can't get it to lock into the screwgun. I believe the spring inside the thumb screw lock is in the wrong place. Just want to check and try to remedy this problem. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase of this gun.
