I am not a professional carpenter. I just purchased this tool for small jobs and projects around the house. I probably have less than 200 pins shot through my nailer that I purchased around 2011. A couple years ago I plugged in the nailer for another small job and air was blowing out the back. The urethane lip seal that sits on top of the piston disintegrated in storage. I only use air tool oil in air tools and never opened the tool until I had the leak. I used to repair power tools for a living so I know what I'm doing. I'm pretty disappointed with this nailer.

Bad Product, AVOID
Terrible design. no-mar tip falls off the nose, the part that is on the tool gets in the way of the nail and gets shot.
That would be a 2-3 star review. the 1 star is because the nose that you depress is cheap pressed steel, it gets bent and hung up on the guides and you either can't shoot the nail, or worse, you can with zero safety lock out. Pick it up and touch the trigger, you just shot a nail.
I'm a pro, I have used just about every brand, this is the worst air tool I've ever owned.

No-mar tip comes off, bad design
[Good]
No jamming so far (will update after big project)
[Bad]
1) N-mar tip comes off too easily - bad design.
2) No rear exhaust - today's standard.
3) Plastic magazine - for diy people, but not pro.
