What does the "screw" hot dipped mean? I am looking for something similar to ring shank for pole shed construction to fit in my Bostitch BRT 130. range is 4-5 1/8.

Hot Dipped represents the galvanization of this particular nail. Screw references the type of shank the nail has. It is similar to a ring shank in that it has ridges, but the screw shank is instead shaped to replicate the thread of a screw. The thread forces the nail to turn as it’s driven, essentially forging its own thread in the wood. As with ring shank nails, the threads create a locking effect that makes the nail more difficult to remove.
