Grex GC1850 Cordless 18 Ga. Brad Nailer, 1/2" to 2"
The first of its kind, the Grex GC1850 cordless brad nailer is powered only by 2 AAA batteries and fuel cell; designed to drive 18 gauge brad nails 1/2" to 2" in length. The Grex GC1850 is the only cordless finish nailer that is as small as a traditional air operated finish nailer, while also offering a light-weight metal body, the power to sink 2” brad nails into 2” thick red oak, and a low cost of ownership. Powered by 2 AAA alkaline batteries - that last at least 50,000 shots, and a fuel cell that lasts approximately 1,300 shots per cartridge, this cordless brad nailer eliminates the lost time of charging a battery - without sacrificing power.
The Grex GFC01 fuel cell is odorless and has no expiration date. Easy to maintain, the GC1850 features a self-lubricating piston ring and cylinder, as well as easy driver replacement. An all-metal body proves best for improved durability, reliability and heat dissipation. No compressor required, the Grex GC1850 cordless brad nailer also features a safety nose with no-mar tip, anti dry-fire lock-out, power adjustment and reversible belt hook. Perfect for applications in trim and moldings, cabinet assembly, jig fixtures, light wood assembly, paneling, window beading, door and window casings, and picture frame assembly. Fuel cells sold separate.

- Its okPurchased this gun on a whim while at Felder Machinery in Winnipeg, Manitoba. First use was on a house doing baseboards. Had a bit of getting used to but once it got going I was pleased with it. I like how I am able to nail into a corner better then my Paslode cordless. But during use a C clip fell out of the trigger handle and became a nuisance to use. Took it back next day and got the C clip installed at Felder. Next job was starting interior finishing on a house. Gun was working well but that C clip fell out again on the trigger switch and now the friving pin gets stuck and wont retract properly unless i double shoot it or push it up manually. For the amount of money I spent pretty disappointed in it. Its closeto matching Paslode's performance but not quite there. Love the dry fire action but it could really use an indicator light for the battery when its low. It gets a little dangerous when you think its shooting a nail and it comes out hap hazardly until you realize the battery probably dead. I only rate it 3/5. Paslode easily 5/5. So far it cant handle the work load I give it. Needs improvement.
