Metabo HPT UC18YSL3SM 18V Li-Ion Battery and Charger Kit

Two Metabo HPT (formerly Hitachi) BSL1830C 3.0 Ah batteries and a UC18YSL3 rapid battery charger are included in this UC18YSL3SM 18V Li-Ion battery and charger kit. These compact Li-Ion slide-type batteries weigh 0.86 lbs. each - significantly lighter than the competition. Providing power that doesn’t fade, these portable Metabo HPT BSL1830C Li-Ion batteries have the same capacity as conventional 18V 3.0 Ah batteries. An overall lighter, more comfortable and convenient work experience is achieved by smaller size, which is 3/4" shorter and 0.6 lbs. lighter compared to previous Hitachi brand batteries. These batteries also come equipped with a patented Multiplex Protection Circuit – which extends battery life by preventing overloading, overcharging, and over-discharging. A resin coating protects the electronic components.

These 18V batteries are fully compatible with all 18V Li-Ion slide-type Hitachi and Metabo HPT cordless tools. Charging the batteries, the lightweight UC18YSL3 rapid charger cools batteries during the charging phase, which prevents overheating. It only takes the UC18YSL3 battery charger 30 minutes to charge 3.0 Ah 18V batteries, and 38 minutes for a 6.0 Ah battery. Indicating the stage of battery charge, this Metabo HPT slide-type rapid charger comes with a color light indicator. The UC18YSL3 has a charge-discharge cycle (for the BSL1830C battery) of 1,500, as well as requiring a charging current of 6.0/4.0A when charging a BSL1830C battery. A true all-in-one charging station, Metabo HPT also included a USB port for charging smartphones and other mobile devices, offering total job site convenience.
