The Simpson Strong-Tie PINWP Powder-Actuated Plastic-Washered Pin for Insulation Board PINWP-250W 0.145” x 2-1/2” is designed for high volume applications and is ideal for fastening rigid insulation board to building structures. The PINWP consists of a 0.300”-headed fastener with a pre-mounted 1-3/8” flat plastic washer. Use this quality pin to fasten fixtures into concrete and steel. This product is made for use with Simpson Strong-Tie powder-actuated tools and is compatible with many competitive tools. Pair it with the Strong-Tie PTP-27L, PT-27, PT-22A, and PT-22HA. The PINWP is code listed per ICC-ES ESR-2138. Installers should note, the minimum effective shank length must equal or exceed the combined thickness of the attached material and the minimum embedment depth.
