With its patent-pending Torque Reduction Channel, The Simpson Strong-Tie Titen Turbo TNTW18314TF 3/16” x 3-1/4” Flat Head Concrete and Masonry Screw Anchor is miles ahead of the competition when it comes to decreasing torque and increasing durability. You’ll see less binding, snapping, and stripping. You’ll also experience less tension and better reliability. The unique Torque Reduction Channel has asymmetrical threading that traps dust. Because the thread action isn’t blocked, the tension drops. Another feature of this mechanical anchor is the serrated screw point that allows for a smoother start when fastening wood.
The Titen Turbo TNTW18314TF is constructed of carbon steel for endurance, and a zinc finish with ceramic coating for corrosion resistance. The Simpson Strong-Tie Titen Turbo is easy to install with an impact driver or cordless drill. This white, 6-Lobe, countersunk, Flat Head screw comes in a box of 100. A T25 6-Lobe bit is included. Use indoors only on applications such as thresholds, window frames, conduits and more. 5/32” Drill Bit diameter for installation. Code listed in accordance with ICC-ES AC193 and ICC-ES AC106.
