Type 316 stainless steel offers the highest corrosion protection from chemicals and salt water, and the THD50800H6SS is fabricated from the best. The strength of the THDSS is unparalleled as its serrated, carbon steel lead threads undercut the concrete, giving it additional holding power.

Type 300 stainless steel screw anchors have different corrosion resistant properties for different environments. While Type 316 is the optimal choice for applications in corrosive environments such as salt water, or when chemical solutions are present, type 304 is a cost effective solution for less extreme, damp, moist or wet applications.
