1/2” x 5” Strong-Tie 316 Stainless Steel Titen HD Concrete Masonry Screw

The Titen HD Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel THD50500H6SS 1/2” x 5” is Simpson Strong-Tie’s ground-breaking concrete and masonry screw for extremely exposed applications. The THD50500H6SS resists corrosion from chemicals and saltwater while maintaining its structural integrity. Not only is the Titen HD stainless steel corrosion resistant in multiple environments, but its serrated carbon steel lead threads undercut the concrete, giving it additional holding power.

To install the Titen HD Stainless Steel THD50500H6SS, use a 1/2" bit and driver to drill a fixture hole 5/8” to 11/16”. Driving the screw is fast and easy. Type 300 series stainless steel screw anchors have different corrosion resistant properties for different environments. While Type 316 is the optimal choice for applications in corrosive environments such as salt water, or when chemical solutions are present, type 304 is a cost effective solution for less extreme, damp, moist or wet applications.
