The Strong-Drive X Metal Screw from Simpson Strong-Tie is ideal for fastening steel decking to structural steel. This #12 x 1" screw (Item #XQ1S1214) has a 5/16" hex-washer head and a #3 drill point. A Quik Guard coating on these steel decking screws ensures corrosion resistance. The plastic-collated metal screw is compatible with the Quik Drive PROHX516 Steel-to-Steel Attachment. Compatible Tools: Quik Drive® PROHX516G2, PROSDX150G2, PROPP150G2.
Suitable Applications: Designed for steel stitching, or "side-lap" stitching and cold-formed steel framing projects.
